The company started modestly with a 1000 sq. ft. showroom and workspace, laying the base for what would become a household name in the years to come.
2017 - Showroom Expansion
With customer demand steadily growing, Sri Lakshmi Doors and Lights expanded its showroom display to 2500 sq. ft. in 2017. To elevate the customer experience further, two additional floors were constructed and elevation works were completed, giving the showroom a striking new presence. This transformation positioned the brand as a larger, more customer-friendly destination in Namakkal.
2019 - Leadership & Community
In 2019, the company took a significant step in leadership and networking by joining BNI (Business Network International). The founder became a Chartered President and Founding Member, opening doors to stronger collaborations and business opportunities that contributed to the brand's growth and recognition in the community.
2020 - Factory Setup
The year 2020 marked a turning point as Sri Lakshmi Doors and Lights established its state-of-the-art factory. Equipped with CNC machines and supported by a team of 15 skilled carpenters, production began in a 3000 sq. ft. facility. This milestone not only enhanced production capacity but also introduced precision and efficiency into the manufacturing process, ensuring better quality and consistency.
2022 - Expansion & Growth
In 2022, Sri Lakshmi Doors and Lights extended its factory and stock godown to 10,000 sq. ft. to meet the rising market demand. Alongside this infrastructure growth, the company expanded its workforce to include 30 skilled carpenters, further strengthening its production capacity and craftsmanship. This milestone marked a phase of rapid growth, enabling the brand to handle larger projects while maintaining its commitment to quality and precision.
2023 - Kavithalaya Woodcrafts Establishment
The year 2023 was another proud milestone with the formal establishment of Kavithalaya Woodcrafts in Namakkal. The venture featured a dedicated furniture showroom and an upgraded factory setup that blended modern aesthetics with traditional craftsmanship, showcasing the brand's evolution into a complete furniture and woodcraft solutions provider. During this period, the company also began scouting opportunities to tie up with Indonesian brands for premium furniture imports, reflecting its ambition to expand offerings and bring world-class designs to its customers.
